I found a bunch of photos that are from the Berlin 1999 trip, and there is a batch of them of postings and posters and graffiti from bands and artists of all kinds, i.e. the photo above. 'The Clit Cops' are an obscure self proclaimed porno-punk band. What I find interesting is that even in this apparent chaos there is a scheme, a programmed control if you will, where the maximum exposure is achieved with minimal disruption and/or visual contamination; what I mean is that they keep to barriers and security perimeters around construction sites which were all over town back then, so instead of seeing a bunch of plywood barriers, you saw what you see above. I kind of like it, Berlin is that way, Modern beyond belief.

This is a common sight of today's small and rural cities throughout Latin America ( and rural North America as well ), a rundown movie palace/theater of former glory, a meeting place of equalizing force. This particular example is both sad and ironic at the same time, because of its chosen name: REFORM ( or " reforma " ) , certainly something that may have never gone through the minds of the people who built it, that this place of culture would ever fall victim of precisely that, decay and ultimately abandon.
